The Wines

1. 2012 Marc Roman Terret (Languedoc, France): The Terret grape is native to Southern France and it produces a light, crisp, dry and fruit forward white wine.  With notes of apple, lemon, melon and light floral nuances, it’s refreshing and quite delightful.

2. NV Fossi Bianco (Tuscany, Italy): This classic table wine is composed of Trebbiano and Malvasia and is made by the old Fossi Chianti house.  Light and extremely easy to drink, it flows with flavors of ripe apple, cantaloupe, lemon and spice.  For fans of Pinot Grigio, this will be right up your alley.

3. NV Fossi Rosso (Tuscany, Italy): Fossis Vino Tavola Rosso is composed entirely of young vine Sangiovese, and it will remind those who have traveled to Italy of one of the local house wines they consumed while there.  Simple, juicy, and perfect for drinking with or without food, it’s packed with bright cherry, strawberry and cranberry fruit aromas and flavors.

4. 2011 Marc Roman Malbec (Languedoc, France): This tastes nothing like an Argentinean Malbec………nothing like it!  Instead, you get a medium weight, bistro-style red with friendly notes of black cherry, spice and leather.  This wine speaks more of Southern France terroir than of Malbec, and that’s why we love it.
