The Wines

1. 2013 Mannara Grillo/Pinot Grigio (Sicily, Italy) – This dry, round, easy drinking, and affordable white wine comes from the island of Sicily. Packed with ripe pear, apple, peach, and spice aromas and flavors, this is just pure, casual drinking pleasure.

2. 2013 Undurraga Chardonnay/Riesling (Central Valley, Chile) – Chardonnay and Riesling huh? Yep, this 85% Chardonnay, 15% Riesling blend works incredibly well. The Chardonnay provides rich and creamy peach, pear and apricot fruit and the Riesling provides acidity and floral nuances. At the end of the day, it just works and it’s simply delicious.

3. 2014 Michel Gassier Cercius Blanc (Southern Rhone Valley, France) – It’s our Case of the Month and it’s the best Cercius Blanc we’ve ever tried! 70% Grenache Blanc and 30% Sauvignon fermented in cement and aged on its lees for 5 months, this medium to full bodied, beautifully pure white wine flows with aromas and flavors of white peach, pineapple, guava, honeysuckle and mineral.
