Join us for this special free wine tasting where we’ll pull the corks on some incredible wines from the various terrains and climates of California. We’ll start with a classic, buttery-rich, and complex Carneros Chardonnay from a top producer. Next up, we’ll pour you one of hottest new Central Coast Pinot Noirs out there — the first 2 vintages of the wine have scored 92 points! Finally, we’ll finish up with a mammoth Napa Cabernet that will take you on a serious thrill ride.

1. 2013 Ferrari-Carano Chardonnay Reserve (Carneros-Napa Valley, California) – For fans of rich, buttery, classy California Chardonnay, you’re going to want to try this. Founded in 1981 by Don and Rhonda Carano, this esteemed estate is based in Sonoma County and they own vineyards throughout the North Coast. This wine is composed mainly of fruit from their Carneros vineyard and sees 16 months aging in French oak before bottling. The resulting wine is full bodied, layered, pure and delicious. 91 points The Wine Advocate
2. 2014 Hahn Pinot Noir “SLH” (Santa Lucia Highlands, California) – Nicky Hahn was one of the first to suggest that the Santa Lucia Highlands be deemed a unique winegrowing district. Today, he and his team farm some prime sites in this “Pinot Perfect” area of California. The nearly perfect 2014 vintage resulted in a great crop of fully ripened Pinot Noir, and this is a wine that could easily pass for wines that cost twice the price. Fuller bodied, silky smooth and laced with ripe red fruits, plum, and earth, this is a wondrous value. 92 points Wine Spectator
3. 2014 Venge Cabernet Sauvignon “Silencieux” (Napa Valley, California) – The 2012 and 2013 vintage of this wine scored 95 points with Robert Parker — this one hasn’t been reviewed yet, but we’re going to go ahead and say that it will score similarly. The 2014 vintage combined the opulence of 2012 with the power of 2013 resulting in wines like this one. This is just straight up majestic, deep, rich, thrilling Cabernet Sauvignon from Kirk Venge.
