To start, we’ll pour you a splash of a fantastic, lightly sparkling and dry Pinot Noir from a biodynamic farm in Austria. Up next is the new vintage (2015) of the Grayson Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon……..if you like their Chardonnay (our current Case of the Month), you’re going to love this. And to finish up, we’ll sample you on a 92 point rated Super Tuscan that drinks like $30, but costs less than $20! So come get comfortable with us this Friday. Taste, learn, and save! The Wines
Save big on all of the tasting wines! Mix any 3 of them and save 10%, mix any 6 and save 15%, or mix any 12 and save 20%!

1. 2015 Meinklang Pinot Noir Frizzante “Prosa” (Burgenland, Austria): From the small, biodynamic Michlits Family Estate, this is one of the funnest and easiest to drink wines in the store. It’s pink in color, it’s dry, and it’s got a little spritz to it. With aromas and flavors of fresh cherry, tart strawberry, and cranberry, this light and juicy rosé will convert the most suspicious pink wine pessimist over to our side.

2. 2015 Grayson Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon (Various Regions, California) – Grayson continues to wow us with high quality wines at extremely low prices. Their 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is another super strong showing from this winery based in Napa Valley. Full bodied and packed with ripe aromas and flavors of dark cherry, cassis, light oak, soft tannin and mild acidity. This might qualify as the best under $15 Cabernet coming out of California right now.

3. 2013 Aia Vecchia Lagone (Tuscany, Italy) – Have we found the best Super Tuscan value? Maybe, but you’ll have to be the judge! From Italy’s coastal Maremma region, this one is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc that spent 12 months aging in French barrique. James Suckling gave it 92 points and we agree with his assesment — full bodied, packed with ripe fruit and oak spice notes, this could easily sell for $25+ per bottle.
