Saturday Wine Tasting at Table Wine in Asheville, NC.

Sunny Spring Wines - Free Wine Tasting

Saturday, April 5th 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m. — Free Wine Tasting — Join us this and every Saturday for one of Asheville’s best free weekly wine tastings! This week, we’re celebrating the warmer, sunnier days of spring with a tasting featuring four refreshing and invigorating wines. We’ll start with the 2012 Domaine de la Fruitiere Vignes Blanches, a nicely dry blend of Melon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. With notes of lemon, lime and green apple, this is sure to get your mouth watering! Next up, the 2012 Domaine Baron Touraine Vieilles Vignes is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from 35 to 40 year old vines. It’s packed with classic Loire Valley notes of lime, grapefruit, green apple and herbs.

And no spring themed wine tasting would be complete without a dry rosé, so third in the tasting is the 2013 Domaine du Salvard Cheverny Rosé, a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay. Featuring a mix of delicated red fruits, herbs and mixed citrus notes, this is one of the driest of the rosés we carry. We’ll finish up the tasting with a light and juicy red, the N.V. Roncier Pinot Noir, a wine that delivers fresh red fruits and subtle earth nuances. Join us to taste and learn about wine, one sip at a time every Saturday at Table Wine!
