Friday Wine Down - The Best Wine Tasting in Asheville

Join us this Friday, July 11th any time between 4 and 7 p.m. to “wine down” your work week and get your week end off to a good start with the best wine tasting in Asheville! This week, we’re pouring a superb quintet of value-priced wines from some of the most prolific viticultural zones of the New World. Marked by riper fruit profiles and less earthy nuances, these are great wines to drink with or without food any night of the week. The cost for the tasting is just $5/person or it’s free if you’re a Grape Nut!

We’ll start with the 2013 Wither Hills Sauvignon Blanc, a bright and citric rendition from New Zealand’s Marlborough zone. Next up, the 2013 Banyan Gewurztraminer is almost dry and highly aromatic with notes of peach, rose petal, and honeysuckle. The first red, the 2012 Cartlidge & Browne Pinot Noir delivers mixed ripe red fruits with hints of baking spices and subtle earth. And the 2012 Renacer “Punto Final” Malbec is deeply colored and laced with warm berries, spice box and toasty oak. We’ll finish with the 2012 Ca’Momi Rosso di Napa, a fun, rich, and flavor packed blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Put your tasting shoes on and stop by this Friday to taste, learn and save!

Tasting wines are 10% off by the bottle, 15% off if you mix six of them, and 20% off if you mix twelve of them!
