1. 2016 Palama Verdeca (Puglia, Italy) – Verdeca is an ancient Puglian grape that is thought to maybe be related to both Italian Verdicchio and Spanish Verdejo. Whatever the case, this is one delicious bottle of white wine. Fermented in stainless steel, it is crisp, clean, and refreshing with notes of lime, pomelo, and green herbs. Lovely stuff!

2. 2017 Ostatu Rosado (Rioja, Spain) – The new batch of dry roses are flowing into the store, and this is always a staff and customer favorite. A blend of the estate’s oldest, highest altitude, and organically farmed Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Viura vines, it is tart and invigorating with aromas and flavors of lime, kiwi, white cherry and green strawberry.

3. 2015 Mocali Morellino di Scansano Suberli (Tuscany, Italy) – Like Brunello di Montalcino, but hate paying the price. I’ve got the solution to that problem! Mocali, a prized Brunello producer, also farms some Sangiovese in Scansano, along Tuscany’s coast. These old, organically farmed vines yield a potent wine laced with deep notes of dark cherry, blackcurrant, earth, and complex spice notes. Structured and firm, but with plenty of ripe fruit, this is a red to enjoy at your next spring cookout.
