Free Wine Tasting - New Chilean Finds - Friday, May 18th

Friday, May 18th from 4-7pm – Get your weekend off to a great start with a free wine tasting at Table Wine. Just stop by — we’ve got plenty of free parking.

I’ve been up to my old tricks. Buying way too much wine and packing it into the 1,500 square feet that is Table Wine. I can’t help it. When I taste really good wine, I buy it. And with some of the best wine reps in WNC calling on us, they’re constantly bringing good wines. Thus, high-quality wines are abundant at the shop! Stop by, taste some of my new favorites, please stock up, and save big every Friday at Table Wine.

All of the featured tasting wines are 20% off on tasting day only!

1. 2016 El Viejo del Valle Chardonnay (Central Valley, Chile) – Don’t judge a book by it’s cover! Ben and I agreed that the label for this one was hideous, but we loved the juice. Clean, pure, bright Chardonnay fruit with just the tiniest whiff of spicy oak……..at less than $10. Good stuff!

2. 2017 Laberinto Sauvignon Blanc (Maule Valley, Chile) – Laberinto is one of Chile’s top Sauvignon Blancs, and it is in fine form with the 2017 vintage. From a single-vineyard planted by Rafael Tirado in 1998, this is a joy ride of a wine that will thrill Sauvignon Blanc lovers to the core. It’s intense, it’s powerful, and it’s eerily like Cloudy Bay.

3. 2016 El Viejo del Valle Pinot Noir (Maule Valley, Chile) – As much as we liked this producer’s Chardonnay, their Pinot Noir was the wine that really grabbed us. Drinking like a $20+ Santa Barbara County Pinot, with its pure red fruits and graceful tannin, I think we’ve found your new “House Pinot Noir.” Did I tell you it was less than $10?
