1. 2016 Domaine Pascal Granger Beaujolais-Villages Blanc “La Jacarde” (Beaujolais, France) – This estate has been in the Granger family for over two hundred years! They make a small amount of Chardonnay from this old-vine, single vineyard site located just south of Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véran. Fermentation and aging all takes place in tank to create a dry and vibrant wines laced with ripe citrus, golden apple, and almond notes.

2. 2016 Cantina Colterenzio Pinot Nero (Alto Adige, Italy) – Colterenzio is one of the finest cooperatives in all of Italy. All of their growers are committed to sustainable practices in the vineyards, and their wines are always exceptional values. The new vintage of their Pinot Nero is a real charmer. Medium bodied, silky-smooth, and laced with aromas and flavors ripe red berries, spice, and black tea, it’s a ton of Pinot Noir for the money.

3. 2015 Domaine de Fenouillet Vaucluse Rouge (Southern Rhone Valley, France) – Brothers Patrick and Vincent Soard own and operate this impeccable domaine situated in the village of Beaumes de Venise, in the shadows of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail. All of their vineyards are certified organic. This is their fun and funky little house wine, a blend of Marsellan and Merlot, that delivers soulful and honest Southern French flavors at an incredible price.
