Free Wine Tasting - Exploring Spanish Wines

Stop by the store every Saturday any time between 2 and 5 p.m. for our educational and free wine tasting. This Saturday, July 19th we’re excited to pour and talk about some of our favorite new Spanish wines. We’ll start with the dry, minerally, and herbaceous 2013 Garciarevalo Casamaro Blanco, an old vine blend of 90% Verdejo and 10% Viura. If you like Sauvignon Blanc, you’ll love this!

In the red department, we’ll start with the 2010 Montebuena Rioja, a 100% Tempranillo-based wine raised entirely in American oak. Rated 89 points by The Wine Advocate and 90 by The International Wine Cellar, this incredible value priced wine shows lots of ripe red fruits and classic Tempranillo spice. And last, but not least, we get to that huge Garnacha I spoke about in the intro. The 2011 Navaherreros Garnacha de Bernabeleva is from very old, high elevation vineyards just outside of Madrid. Fermented in old Burgundy barrels, it is the essence of Grenache with more Rhone-like tendencies than Spanish ones. Just come by, taste it and the others, and save this Saturday at Table Wine! You won’t regret it!

Tasting wines are 10% off by the bottle, 15% off when you mix any six of them and 20% off if you mix twelve!
