1. 2015 Bidoli Sauvignon Blanc (Friuli, Italy) – This is our new Case of the Month as well as one of the best Sauvignon Blanc finds of all time. From the gravelly, rocky soils of Friuli Grave, this fuller styled, intense Sauvignon Blanc is packed with aromas and flavors of pear, lime, passion fruit, fresh green herbs and mineral.
Tasting Price: $11.69 on mixed 3-packs | $11.04 in mixed six packs | $10.39 in mixed cases
Special Case of the Month Price: $9.99/bottle on your solid case — over 20% off!
2. 2013 G.D. Vajra Langhe Rosso (Piemonte, Italy) – G.D. Vajra is one of the Piemonte’s top names in Barolo, and their blended red wine is always one of the great values of the region. A crisp, medium bodied blend of Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Pinot Nero, Freisa and Albarossa, it is a true taste of the Piemonte. From younger vines, it is fresh and fruit forward, but not at all simple.
Tasting Price: $14.39 on mixed 3-packs | $13.59 on mixed 6-packs | $12.79 on mixed cases
3. 2014 Cordero di Montezemolo Barbera d’Alba (Piemonte, Italy) – This old and historic estate can trace its roots back to 1340! Like G.D. Vajra, this is one of the most respected Barolo producers of the region, and their Barbera is a ton of wine for the money. Rich and juicy, it shows notes of blackberry, dark plum, dark cherry, violet and just a kiss of oak.
Tasting Price: $21.59 on mixed 3-packs | $20.39 on mixed 6-packs | $19.19 on mixed cases
