1. 2015 Domaine Paul Buisse Touraine Blanc (Loire Valley) – This is an absolutely exceptional example of Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Racy, yet delicate and restrained, this one offers up crisp notes of herbs, green apple, citrus and a hint of white pepper.

2. 2014 La Grange de Piaugier Cotes du Rhone (Rhone Valley, France) – I would venture to guess that at least six of my mortgage payments have been “assisted” by our sales of various Cotes du Rhones. This one is a great example of why so many love the red wines of Southern France. Mainly Grenache, with smaller portions of Syrah, Mourvedre, and a few others, it’s medium bodied, juicy, and spicy with moderate earthy complexity.

3. 2014 Domaine Amido Cotes du Rhone Villages “Signargues” (Rhone Valley, France) – It’s our best selling wine of all time and Domaine Amido’s Cotes du Rhone is simply delicious! A blend of Grenache and Syrah fermented in stainless steel, it is full bodied and luscious with loads of warm and ripe cherry, raspberry and plum fruit. With soft tannin and mild acidity, it is smooth, seamless and a tremendous value.
