Free on Fridays Wine Tasting - Quintessential House Wines

Friday, March 24th from 4-7 pm – Join us at the store (directions here) for a free wine tasting featuring a trio of quintessential house wines. From a little Southern French operation called Le Ballon, this is your chance to try their white, rosé, and red. Trust us, the wines are delicious, affordable, and perfect for spring and summer parties and casual sipping.

Call them house wines, table wines, or vin de table…….we don’t care what you call them! The new Le Ballon wines from the Languedoc are some of the most honest and easy drinking French wines of all time! Part of the Vignerons de Nature portfolio imported to North Carolina by local importer/distributor Sour Grapes, the Le Ballon wines are ridiculous values in highly quaffable organic wines. We’ll start with the white, a fresh and zesty, tank fermented blend of equal parts Sauvignon Blanc and Vermentino. Up next, the dry rosé is simply sensational — 50% Grenache and 50% Cinsault, this is about as chuggable as wine can get. To finish, the grill-ready red combines Grenache with little bits of Cinsault and Cabernet Sauvignon — juicy, spicy, and easygoing, this is the perfect mid-weight red for warmer weather drinking. All you have to do is stop by, taste, learn and save on all of the featured tasting wines.

Can’t make it by, but want to place an order? Just email us at josh@tablewineasheville.com.
