All of the featured tasting wines are on sale the day of the tasting: take 10% off if you mix any 3, 15% off if you mix any 6, or 20% off if you mix any 12.

The Wines

1. 2015 Elouan Rose (Various Regions, Oregon) – Elouan’s dry rose is composed of 100% Pinot Noir grown specifically to make this wine — we’ll explain more at the tasting. Fermented in stainless steel, it exhibits abundant notes of raspberry, strawberry and citrus fruits followed by gentle spice, mineral and floral notes. This is a brilliant effort from Joe Wagner and his team at Elouan.

2. NV Roncier Rouge Vin de Table (Burgundy, France) – This “mysterious” red wine requires a little bit of research to unveil what is actually in the bottle. That’s what we do! The wine comes from Maison L. Tramier et Fils, a family run winery started in 1842. Located in the southern part of Burgundy, in and around the village of Mercurey, this wine is not vintage dated, but it is Pinot Noir and a great introduction to earthy Red Burgundy. At this price, how can you say no?

3. 2014 Elouan Pinot Noir (Various Regions, Oregon) – It’s our new Wine of the Weeks, it’s an incredible value in delicious Oregon Pinot Noir, and it cann be yours for as low as $15.99/bottle! Joe Wagner, the man who built and then sold Meiomi for $365 million, has put all of his energy and some of those profits into his new Oregon Pinot Noir project. It has paid off! This is a lovely rendition of Oregon Pinot Noir from a great vintage — fuller bodied, flowing iwth silky and ripe red fruit, and possessing notable earthy complexity, you will be hard pressed to find a better Oregon Pinot for the money.
