Perfectly aged red wines tasting at Table Wine in Asheville, North Carolina

Euro-Zone Extreme Wine Values - Free Saturday Wine Tasting

This Saturday, April 12th, 2014 from 2 to 5 p.m. — Join us this Saturday for one of Asheville’s best free wine tastings! This week, we’re celebrating the arrival of spring with open arms and delicious wines. First up, we’ll pour you the fresh and frothy Broadbent Vinho Verde, one of Portugal’s top versions of this popular wine. With notes of fresh apple, citrus and flowers, this low alcohol white wine is the perfect accompaniment to sunbathing and patio/porch hanging. After that, you’ll get to sample the low production 2013 Barnard Griffin Sangiovese Rosé from Washington’s Columbia Valley. Bursting with fresh strawberry, raspberry and white flowers, this dry, almost red wine is just about impossible to put down. We’ll finish with the 2012 Les Ondines Cotes du Rhone, one of Josh’s favorite wines at the moment. With lots of fresh and snappy red fruit along with subtle notions of spice and herb, this affordable and delicious red wine makes for a great everyday casual quaffer. Remeber, we’re closed on Sundays, so stop by before 6:00 this Sunday to taste and learn about wine, one sip at a time.
