The Wines
Prices range from $15 to $25

1. 2013 Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc/Viognier – For over 30 years, Pine Ridge has been delighting wine drinkers with their majestic, hand crafted wines.  Though best known for their red wines, their white blend has been and continues to be one of the great white wine values of California.  80% Chenin Blanc and 20% Viognier, this stainless steel fermented white shows “crisp, tart, melon, tangerine and bubble gum-like aromas” and a “crips acid profile.”  Perfumed, delicious and ready to drink, this is a great one to have around the house for all occasions.

2. 2013 Seghesio Zinfandel – Seghesio just keeps doing it!  For three years in a row, their Sonoma County Zinfandel has scored 90+ points with The Wine Spectator and the newest release just broke at 92 points.  It is “a lively, zesty red that offers bright cherry and tarragon aromas and sleekly layered flavors of briary raspberry, nutmeg and fresh-cracked black pepper. Drink now through 2021.”  We’d say drink it now, like tonight!  Wine Spectator – 92 points

3. 2012 Milbrandt Cabernet Sauvignon “Traditions” – As renowned grape growers supplying fruit to many wineries in Washington state, Jerry and Butch Milbrandt are applying the same dedication to their own namesake wines.  Their Cabernet Sauvignon has always been a great value, and the tremendous conditions of the 2012 vintage have resulted in an even better value.  “Soft and ripe, open-textured and medium-weight, offering plum, cassis and spice flavors that linger gently on the finish. Drink now through 2017.”  Wine Spectator – 89 points
