2. 2014 Angeline Pinot Noir (Various Regions, California) – Angeline is the entry-level line of wines from California’s historic Martin Ray Winery. Their Pinot Noir incorporates grapes from Monterey, Santa Barabara, and Sonoma Counties to create a consistently balanced and delicious Pinot Noir. Medium bodied and flowing with notes of supple cherry, strawberry, vanilla and oak spice, this easy drinking red is very easy to like, and we count it as one of the best value Pinot Noir produced in the state.

3. 2012 Leviathan Red Wine (Various Regions, California) – This is a really special treat folks! Made by Andy Erickson, who has one of the best resumes of any California winemaker (Harlan, Screaming Eagle, Staglin, Favia, and others), his goal at Levaiathan is to produce one singular red wine each vintage. Drawing upon his vast network of friends with vineyards all over the state, the wine is always a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Merlot, and the 2012 is a blockbuster. Think about it, you are sipping on a wine made by the same dude who made or makes some of California’s top and most expensive wines. Odds are, he’s getting fruit from some of these estates. Whatever the case, this is absolutely dripping with deliciousness.
Tasting Price: $44.99/bottle | $42.49 on mixed six packs | $39.99 on mixed cases
