For our last tasting of 2011, it will be nothing but bubbles! Small family estate sparkling wines and small-batch handmade truffles – anyone interested yet? Join us on Saturday, December 31 as we close out 2011 in style. We’ll pour the bubbles all day long with great by the glass prices on all of them, and Barb and Les Norman of Blue Moon Chocolatier will join us from 2 to 5. Thus, you’ll have the chance to “try before you buy” six sparkling wines and two different types of truffles – you can’t beat that with a stick! All of the wines will also be offered by the glass at great prices, so feel free to bring your own caviar, Beluga or Ossetra is preferred…….hah!
A little background on Blue Moon Chocolatiers and the Normans. Les and Barb recently relocated to Asheville from Washington, D.C. where they previously owned and operated a wine shop, a restaurant, and obviously a truffle-making operation. Barb’s truffles received very favorable reviews from the Washington Post and Washington Magazine, and if I were you, I would get to the store early before the free samples run out! You couldn’t meet a nicer couple, and we look forward to working with them in 2012 to create great menus for our wine dinners and great treats for you all!
